Hi All,

I'm from Pennsylvania in the USA, and am in the process of fixing up my 1974 RL250. For years I've had the Matrix Motor Sports website ( http://www.rl250.com/) in my favorites and they have everything that I need for my RL250, but I get no response from email or phone call. I am wondering if any of you out there have boughten their parts, and if so how long ago? Also do you know of any other place that has RL250 decals, case screw set, seat covers etc.?

This is my first posting. I am 66 years old and the original and sole owner of this bike. I bought it in 1975 and had used it for woods and trail riding mostly. Once my family started growing I set it aside other than once or twice a year firing it up. It still starts first kick usually and I so far have rep[laced the Chen Sing knobbies I had on it with IRCs. I have the frame and tank repainted and am slowly getting it back together. I sure could use the decal set and case screw set plus the seat cover replacement that Matrix has listed on their website and they so far are the only site that has such a complete listing of parts.  Well I hope to be using this site for help and information, looks like there is plenty of that. Thanks.

What I found out.

Hi All, For anybody that may be interested or wondering themslves regarding Matrix Motor Sports, apparently the owner, Michael McPeters is having some financial difficulty and problems. It has taken me just short of a month to find anything about his lack of communication. I would say to prevent anybody from going through the build up of hope and then frustration and a lot of wasted time it would be better to look else where. Thanks all.

Hi LaVern,

When I restored my RL I visited the Matrix site but didn't use it for anything but information. As I remember it, some people had posted adverse comments about them.

I sourced decals from Reproduction Decals www.reproductiondecals.com/

Regards

Brian.

That's what I eventually did.

Hi Brian,

That is exactly what I did regarding Matrix and I also went to reproduction decals to check out their decals and seat covers. I will be sending in my order to them shortly because they have the closest to the originals that I have found.
